Bumper Earnings of seven lakh 54 thousand MT Kharif Produce – Food Minister Mr. Singh Kisan’s produce will probably be bought one after the other Bhopal: Wednesday, December 9, 2020, 14:12 IST Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Bisahu Lal Singh Informed that until date 7 lakh 54 thousand 861 metric tonne kharif produce has been procured from farmers within the state. 5 lakh 39 thousand 8 metric tons of paddy, 1 lakh 90 thousand 270 MT. Millet and 25 thousand 583 MT Jowar has been bought. The farmers’ fee of Rs. 619 crore, Principal Secretary Food Mr. Kidwai knowledgeable that in lieu of the acquisition of kharif produce, farmers have been paid Rs. 619 crore by way of e-payment up to now. This quantity was instantly transferred to their accounts by way of e-payment. 1552 procurement facilities have been established within the state. Of these, paddy was bought at one thousand 419 facilities, whereas millet and jowar are being bought at 133 facilities. Certification of registration of greater than 7 lakh farmers, Principal Secretary Food Mr. Kidwai knowledgeable that 7 lakh 81 on the market of Kharif crop. Thousand 168 farmers had registered. In which 7 lakh 72 thousand 593 their produce was bought from registered farmers at mounted value. Out of which 7 lakh 18 thousand 541 for paddy, 14 thousand 065 for jowar and 39 thousand 987 for bajra, registration of farmers has been carried out. 5 lakh 67 thousand MT He mentioned that until now 5 lakh 67 thousand 249 metric tonnes of produce has been transported from procurement facilities to godowns, together with 3 lakh 89 thousand 445 metric tonnes of paddy, 1 lakh 77 thousand 804 MT Millet and sorghum have been transported to secure warehouse.
