Betul, Multai. The body of an Anganwadi assistant was found in a farm well in village Majhari of Prabhat Patan. The entire case looks suspicious due to a deep injury on the head. At present, the police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The situation will be clear only after the postmortem report arrives.
Masod Chowki in-charge said that the post mortem of the dead body has been done. According to the police, the post mortem report has not been received till Tuesday. Only after the post mortem report comes, it will be clear how the death happened. The woman had left the house saying that she was going to the farm, but did not return. When the relatives searched, the dead body was found in the well. The police was informed. According to the police, the Panchnama was made after taking the dead body out of the well. The police said that the dead body was sent to Prabhatpattan Hospital for post mortem.

Masod outpost in-charge Vasant Ahake said that the body of Sunanda, wife of Ramrao Kumare, 32 years old, was taken out from the well of her brother-in-law’s field on the night of 27 July. The whole case has become suspicious due to the deep injury marks on the head of the body. According to the police, the woman was posted as an Anganwadi assistant in Majhari itself.
The condition in which the woman’s body was found makes the case look suspicious. Something can be known only after receiving the postmortem report.
