Along with regular employees of the state government, salaries will also be given to outsourced employees on October 28, before Diwali. The Finance Department has given orders to all department heads and collectors for this. Besides, the state government has also advised other institutions including public sector undertakings, local bodies, universities, autonomous bodies that they can take decisions keeping in mind the financial condition of their institutions.

In view of the Diwali festival on 31st October, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has decided to pay salaries to the employees four days earlier on 28th October. The same system has been implemented for contractual and outsourced employees.

The Finance Department has instructed all the heads of departments that the payment of salary, honorarium and remuneration for October, which was to be given on November 1, 2024, should be given on October 28, keeping in view the Diwali festival. For this, all arrangements should be made in advance so that there is no difficulty in payment. Local bodies, public undertakings, universities and other institutions should also take decisions considering their financial position.
