Good News; Another train will run between Rewa and Bhopal, waiting in Rewanchal Express will be eliminated

Bhopal-Rewa new rail service approved.

New train will run from Rewa to Bhopal via Jabalpur twice a week. Train will depart from Bhopal on Friday and Sunday at 10:30 pm. Train will depart from Rewa on Saturday and Monday at 11:00 pm.

Naiduniya Representative, Rewa: Railways has given another big gift to Rewa-Bhopal passengers. Due to long waiting in Rewanchal Express, there was a long standing demand to run another regular train between Rewa and Bhopal. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has approved a new train. This train will make two trips between Rewa and Bhopal in a week. This will directly benefit the passengers of Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Satna.

Bhopal-Rewa-Bhopal train will run two days a week

This new rail service will start from August 2. For now, this train will run 2 days a week. This train will run from Bhopal on Friday and Sunday at 10.30 pm and will reach Rewa at 8.05 am the next day via Rani Kamlapati, Itarsi, Jabalpur. Similarly, this train will run from Rewa on Saturday and Monday at 11 pm and will reach Bhopal at 9.15 am.

There was a long standing demand due to waiting in Rewanchal

A large number of people from Rewa-Sidhi and Satna live in Bhopal. At present, the only direct rail service available between Bhopal and Rewa is Rewanchal Express, in which it takes two months to get a reservation. In such a situation, the demand for another rail service other than Rewanchal Express has been going on for a long time. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav wrote a letter to BJP General Secretary Bhagwandas Sabnani and informed about the approval of the new train.

Vande Bharat Express

However, the premium category Vande Bharat Express is also running between Rewa and Bhopal’s Rani Kamlapati Railway Station. This train departs from Rewa at 5:30 am and reaches Rani Kamlapati at 1:30 pm via Jabalpur. It departs from Rani Kamlapati station at 3:30 pm and reaches Rewa at 11:30 pm. Due to being premium, the number of passengers in it is very less compared to Rewanchal.
