Good news for medical students! Now you can leave your seat even after counselling, freedom from leaving bond

There will be relief in the first two phases of counselling. There used to be a bond of Rs 30 lakh in government colleges. The first phase of counseling can be held this month.

State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. There is good news for the doctors going to take admission in MD-MS in government and private medical colleges of the state. Now, seat leaving bond will not be applicable on those who leave their seats after admission in the first two stages of counselling. This will be effective with the mop-up round.

Till the last session, seat leaving bond was imposed on leaving the seat after taking admission in the second phase. In this, those taking admission in a government college had to deposit Rs 30 lakh and those taking admission in a private college had to deposit the entire course fee to the government in the form of bond amount. Candidates were not able to resign even after getting a good college or subject. This system has already been implemented in MBBS.

It is noteworthy that in the last session there were 1262 PG seats in government colleges of the state and 830 seats in private colleges. This year, there are chances of some seats increasing in both government and private colleges. It has also been stipulated in the admission rules that candidates will be given the opportunity to register only once. Was given second chance in MBBS also. The registration process for admission to MD-MS has also started from October 2.

Counseling program has not been released yet

However, since the schedule of All India Quota seats has not been released yet, the Directorate of Medical Education has also not released the counseling schedule yet. Seat allotment in the first phase of counseling is likely to happen this month itself.
