Heroine Rani Laxmibai Sacrifice Fair: Amar Shaheed Jyoti Yatra comes from Jhansi, Vijayvargiya will be a part of the program

The Amar Shaheed Jyoti Yatra from Jhansi was given a grand welcome at the Balidan Mela being organized in Gwalior on the occasion of the Balidan Divas of brave woman Rani Laxmibai. Hundreds of people wearing yellow coloured turbans welcomed the Amar Shaheed Jyoti Yatra from Jhansi. During this, the organiser of the fair and senior BJP leader Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya installed the Amar Shaheed Jyoti Yatra brought from Jhansi Fort by Bundelkhandi youths at the Samadhi Sthal of brave woman Rani Laxmibai located at Phool Bagh. With this, the Balidan Mela has been formally inaugurated.
Every year in Gwalior, a Balidan Mela is organized at the Samadhi Sthal of the braveheart Rani Lakshmi Bai at Phool Bagh Maidan on the occasion of her Balidan Diwas. An exhibition of Rani Lakshmi Bai’s weapons is organized. Apart from this, a grand play based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai is organized, in which hundreds of artists give their performances. This year too, this play is being organized at Phool Bagh Maidan on the occasion of Balidan Diwas tomorrow. Madhya Pradesh’s Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya will also participate in this program.
This fair is being organized in this manner for the last 25 years. Rani Laxmibai, the main warrior of the 1857 revolution, attained martyrdom here while fighting the British. Rani Laxmibai sacrificed her life while fighting the British at Phool Bagh ground in Gwalior. She fought fiercely with the British on the land of Gwalior and defeated them.
