The woman alleged that her husband’s murder was portrayed as an accident. The names of the Panchayat Secretary and the Sarpanch’s son were involved in the murder. To suppress the case, financial assistance was deposited in the woman’s account.

Naiduniya News, Morena: “Sir! My husband was murdered. There were protests against that murder many times, the case is going on in the court, but the people of the village panchayat have deposited the amount of Rs 4 lakh, which is given in case of accidental death, in my account to prove my husband’s murder as an accident. I don’t want money, but justice in my husband’s murder. Those who are conspiring for this should be investigated and strict action should be taken against them.”

This complaint was brought to Collector Ankit Asthana during the public hearing in Morena on Tuesday by Rinki Jatav of Narsinghpur village of Pachokhara Gram Panchayat. Rinki told that her husband Pan Singh Jatav was murdered in the year 2002. First the goons beat her husband badly, then he was beaten up in the police station, due to which her husband died.

Sarpanch’s son’s name is also among the accused

According to the woman, the Panchayat secretary Raghuvir Sikarwar took the documents in the name of getting widow pension. Later, four lakh rupees were deposited in her account and she was told that this amount was received after her husband died in an accident. According to Rinki Jatav, the Panchayat sarpanch’s son’s name is also included among the accused, so a conspiracy is being hatched to prove her husband’s murder as an accidental death.

I am alive and my pension was stopped by declaring me dead

Kamala Dandaotiya, an elderly woman resident of Hingonakhurd village, while giving an application to the collector, said during the public hearing held at the Collectorate that I am alive but the employment assistant of the Panchayat has registered me as dead on the online portal, due to which my pension has been stopped.

According to the elderly woman, on complaining, the employment assistant changed the location of the ID to Bhind district. Sometimes he makes an excuse of server failure and says, complain wherever you want, pension will not be started. The collector has sent this matter to the district panchayat for investigation.
