Naiduniya Representative, Indore (Indore Manmad Rail Project). The ground level work of the much awaited Indore-Manmad new railway line project has started. The tender process has started for this project which will be completed in five years. With this new railway line, the railway line will pass through the tribal areas of Dhar, Khargone and Barwani for the first time.
The project will directly connect about one thousand villages and 30 lakh population with rail service. The project will give impetus to the industrial area of Pithampur. Upon completion of the project, 16 pairs of passenger trains will be operated, in which 50 lakh passengers will travel in the initial years. Every year, Railways will get revenue of more than Rs 900 crore from this project.
The distance from Indore to Mumbai will also reduce from 830 km to 568 km. Manoj Marathe of Sangharsh Committee said that according to the information given recently by Railways, Railways has started the tender process for land acquisition and construction work in the project. After completion of the project, 24 goods trains will operate.

309 km long new railway line will be built at a cost of Rs 16 thousand crore. The distance from Indore to Mumbai will reduce to 568 km. The industrial area of Pithampur will get momentum.
Railway line will pass through here
The new railway line will reach Manmad from Mhow via Dhar via Dharampuri, Thikri, Rajpur, Sendhwa, Sirpur, Shikhandi, Dhule, Malegaon. 30 new railway stations will also be built in the entire project.
