Long distance bus operations completely stopped Administration gave three days’ time to travel operators 80 buses did not run from Chhoti Gwaltoli and Dhakkan Wala Kuan
Naiduniya representative, Indore. The administration had given three days to travel operators to completely stop the operation of long distance buses from within the city. Its effect was visible as the three-day deadline ended on Monday. Buses did not reach Chhoti Gwal Toli and Dhakkan Wala Kuan South Tukoganj. Due to the non-arrival of about 80 buses operating daily, there was relief from traffic jams on intersections and roads.
The buses that used to operate from the city centre started operating from Teen Imli and Ring Road from Monday. Earlier, buses used to operate from here every morning and evening. Passengers reached the travel office, but the buses did not arrive.
When passengers were asked to reach the ring road, many operators took the passengers to the ring road. Since buses were not being operated from the travel operators’ offices, passengers’ vehicles were also not seen on the roads. RTO Pradeep Sharma says that teams had arrived for inspection in the morning, but buses were not found inside the city.
operated from ring road
The administration had also given the option to travel operators to run buses from Naita Mundla, but no operator went to Naita Mundla. Everyone made arrangements for bus operation at private places. Most of the bus operators operated buses from Teen Imli and Ring Road. At present, bus operation from Ring Road has not been banned. Because many operators have set up large offices here.
Parcel booking continues
Even though long distance buses did not enter the city on Monday, the offices of travel operators remained open as before. Even though buses did not arrive here, parcel booking continued. Parcels were delivered to the office by loading and other vehicles. While the administration has clarified that passenger booking will be possible from these offices.
