On the birth anniversary of Kishore da, his fans from many cities of Madhya Pradesh including Mumbai, Akola, Gujarat reached Khandwa. The Samadhi was decorated with flowers by the Municipal Corporation. Kishore da used to say – I will eat milk, jalebi and settle in Khandwa, hence milk and jalebi were also offered at his Samadhi.

Playback singers Milan Singh and Srijit also arrived to pay their tribute at the Samadhi. Both of them performed Kishore Kumar’s songs on the stage. Cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya also offered flowers at the Samadhi and hummed a song.

Collector Anupkumar Singh and SP Manoj Kumar Rai also performed here. Kishore fans who came from far and wide presented songs one after another on the stage. Musical programs are being organized by various organizations across the city on Kishore Da’s birthday.
