MP Monsoon Updates: One weather system and 7 days… clouds settled the account for the whole month

Highlights

Madhya Pradesh is receiving heavy rainfall since July 20. The target of normal rainfall in the state has been achieved in just 4 days. Till July 26, the state received 1% more rainfall than normal.

Bhopal (New World Representative). This time only 2 weather systems came towards Madhya Pradesh during the monsoon season. Out of these, one low pressure area ended on the state’s border. Till July 20, the state had received nine percent less rainfall than normal.

Due to the effect of the low pressure area that reached eastern Madhya Pradesh on 21 July, a series of heavy rains started in the eastern and northern regions of the state. This cyclone progressed further and reached northern Madhya Pradesh. After that, on 23 July, the low pressure area weakened and turned into a cyclone in the upper part of the air and moved towards Jharkhand, but during this period, heavy rains occurred in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Jabalpur, Rewa, Shahdol divisions, due to which the quota of normal rainfall in Madhya Pradesh was completed in just four days on 24 July.

Good rain in eastern Madhya Pradesh too

During this period, eastern Madhya Pradesh also completely recovered from scanty rainfall. Till 8:30 am on 26th July, Madhya Pradesh has received one percent more rainfall than normal this season. Eastern Madhya Pradesh has received only one percent less rainfall than normal, whereas western Madhya Pradesh has received four percent more rainfall than normal. Intermittent rainfall is also continuing.
