Madhya Pradesh government ready to buy soybean at support price
In view of the falling prices of soybean, the Madhya Pradesh government has sent a proposal to the central government for purchase at the support price. The price of soybean in the state is Rs 4000-4600 per quintal, while the support price is Rs 4892. The Center announced procurement at the support price in other states, but did not include Madhya Pradesh. Congress and farmers’ union have announced protests and agitation.

50-50 MBBS seats increased in three medical colleges of the state
MBBS seats in Seoni, Mandsaur, and Neemuch Medical Colleges have been increased by 50-50 to 100-100. The Union Health Ministry has directed the National Medical Commission to give approval. The new seats will be included in the first phase of counseling. This increase was possible due to the recruitment of faculty and increased number of patients.

Now ministers will be the chairman of corporations and boards, not officers
With the decision of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the chairpersons of corporations, boards, authorities and committees in the state will now be ministers and not officers. The General Administration Department has issued orders. Apart from this, the vacant posts of Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioner in the State Information Commission will be filled soon, some names have been finalised in the selection committee meeting.
Heavy rain in the state for next 48 hours
Monsoon trough and deep low pressure have become active in Madhya Pradesh, due to which very heavy rains are expected in Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, and Bhopal on Wednesday.
