Due to this, it is raining at some places in eastern Madhya Pradesh. On Friday, there will be rain in the districts of Gwalior, Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar division. There may be heavy rain at some places. The remaining areas may remain cloudy.

There may be light showers at some places. However, the chances of the cyclone formed near Jharkhand turning into a low pressure area have reduced. Due to this, there are chances of reduction in rainfall activities in the state after two days. Let us tell you that in this season, from 1 June to 8 August, 645.2 mm rainfall has occurred in the state, which is 18 percent more than the normal rainfall (547.2 mm).

Due to the effect of these weather systems formed at different places, there will be rain in the districts of Gwalior, Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar division on Friday. The possibility of the cyclone formed near Jharkhand turning into a low pressure area seems to be less. Due to this, there is a possibility of it weakening. Due to which, after two days, there may be a significant decrease in rainfall activity in the entire state. Due to this, there are also chances of the weather becoming clear.

Heavy rain in many places

During the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Thursday, very heavy rainfall of 116.6 mm (4.56 inches) was recorded in Bara Seoni of Balaghat. Apart from this, heavy rainfall was recorded in Panagar of Jabalpur at 110.2 mm, Baithan of Singrauli at 110.2 mm, Bijawar of Chhatarpur at 93 mm, Bajna of Ratlam at 92 mm, Kolaras of Shivpuri at 80.7 mm, Ghansor of Seoni at 78 mm, Sihawal of Sidhi at 77.2 mm, Dabra of Gwalior at 75 mm, Matiyari of Mandla at 71 mm, Mandla at 68.8 mm, Baragaon Dhansan of Tikamgarh at 68 mm, Prithvipur of Niwari at 65 mm.

On Thursday, from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Guna recorded 36 mm rainfall, Betul 27 mm, Pachmarhi 13 mm, Seoni 8 mm, Jabalpur 7 mm, Chhindwara and Satna 6 mm, Sagar 4 mm, Khandwa, Malajkhand and Rewa 3 mm, Gwalior 2 mm, Bhopal, Shivpuri, Umaria and Damoh 1 mm and Mandla recorded 0.2 mm rainfall.
