Navdunia Representative, Bhopal. Recruitment will be done for nine thousand teacher posts in the government schools of the state. Secondary and primary teacher recruitment exams will be conducted in August. These include posts of subject teachers as well as sports and singing-instrumental teachers.
Teachers of Hindi, English, Sanskrit language, mathematics, science and social sciences will be recruited for secondary and primary schools. Along with this, teachers of singing, playing instruments, dance and sports will also be recruited. MP Employees Selection Board (ESB) has prepared the exam calendar.
Preparations are on to conduct the secondary and primary teacher recruitment exam in August. Candidates who have passed the eligibility test in 2018 and 2023 will also be able to participate in it. Due to the shortage of teachers in the government schools of the state, the level of education is falling.
The reason for this is that about 79 thousand posts of higher secondary, secondary and primary teachers are vacant in government schools. However, even after recruitment on nine thousand posts this year, about 70 thousand posts will remain vacant. At the same time, 18 thousand government schools in the state are being run with the help of one teacher.
About 26 thousand posts were filled in five years
The recruitment process for higher secondary and secondary teachers was started in 2018. The exam results were declared in 2019. 40 thousand teachers were to be appointed in this, but the department approved only 20 and a half thousand posts and this process could not be completed even after five years. Even now, after recruitment on about 26 thousand posts of higher secondary, secondary and primary teachers, about 79 thousand posts remained vacant.
