Naidunia Representative, Rewa: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav described the Regional Industry Conclave organized on Wednesday in Rewa as the most successful event so far. Said that investment proposals worth Rs 31 thousand crore have been received in the conclave. This event will prove to be a revolutionary step for the industrial development of Rewa.
More than four thousand entrepreneurs from across the state had registered to participate in it. Investors from 10 states participated in it and more than 300 wire-seller meetings were held. More than 150 special guests participated in the program.
Proposals worth Rs 31 thousand crores received
The Chief Minister said that all the industrialists participating in the event have praised the industrial policy and positive environment of Madhya Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh, Siddharth Infratech Rs 12,800 crore, Ritwik Project Rs 4,000 crore, KGS Cement Rs 14,000 crore, Patanjali Group Rs 1,000 crore, Rama Group Rs 500 crore, Solar AMC Service Pvt. Ltd. 400 crore, BPCL Petrochemical has proposed an investment of Rs 300 crore.
Also Sharda Minerals Group Rs 225 crore, S Goenka Group Rs 200 crore, Shiv Shakti Construction Company Rs 175 crore, Adani Group Rs 2528 crore in Singrauli, Jai Prakash Power Bencher 750 crore, NTPC Rs 103 crore for solar plant, UltraTech Cement. Ltd. Proposals have been received for investment of Rs 3000 crore in Maihar, Rs 1000 crore in Nisarg Ispat Sidhi and Rs 2063 crore in other industries. This will provide employment opportunities to about 30 thousand people.
Container depots will be built in Katni and Singrauli.
CM said that Patanjali Group is going to build an institute of Yoga and Ayurveda in Ujjain. The fifth Regional Industry Conclave in Rewa will give a new direction to the development of Vindhya. To promote exports, container depots will be built in Singrauli and Katni. New industrial areas will be opened in Rewa-Satna and industrial areas of MSME department in Singrauli, Sidhi, Mauganj and Maihar.
To promote tourism, the tourism potential of Vindhya region will be widely publicized. Joint solar grip of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh will be established in Vindhya. The electricity obtained from this will be used as per requirement in both the states. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla also described this event as unique.
Bhoomipujan of 21 industrial units
In the ceremony, the Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan and inaugurated 21 industrial units in different areas of the state through video conferencing. Their total cost is Rs 2690 crore. The Chief Minister also performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the 10 storey IT Park being built at a cost of Rs 67 crore and 50 thousand square feet at the College intersection in Rewa.
To ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to the Chorhata Industrial Center of Rewa, the Chief Minister performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the construction of an electrical sub-station in the Industrial Centre. At the ceremony, an agreement was signed between AKS University Satna and Tourism Development Corporation to promote tourism in Rewa and Satna. In front of the Chief Minister, Municipal Corporation Rewa signed the agreement for supply of industrial water to the industrial center Chorhata.
