Attack during Lok Sabha elections

During the Lok Sabha elections, Uma Bharti was the BJP candidate from Khajuraho parliamentary constituency. Uma Bharti was attacked in Chandranagar on the evening of 8 February. As soon as Uma Bharti reached the Chandranagar Chowki, the accused blocked her vehicle with a jeep and pelted stones and fired bullets. About 11 people were made accused in these attackers. They were later acquitted.

Uma Bharti’s car was stopped and bullets started being fired and stones were pelted. Somehow Uma ji was rescued safely. Fayaz was also among the accused in the firing case.

Regarding the incident, former BJP district president Malkhan Singh said that when this incident happened in Rajnagar area, we were in Chhatarpur. The atmosphere became heated after the incident because it was election time.

Haji is still missing after six days, police is looking for him

Chhatarpur police is searching for Haji who pelted stones at the police. After the lookout notice was issued, he is under strict surveillance.
