Naiduniya representative, Ujjain. A case of rape of a woman on a footpath in Koyla Phatak area has come to light. After the video went viral on social media, the police have registered a case under sections of rape and arrested the accused. The woman says that she was made to drink alcohol and was molested.

Kotwali police said that a 45-year-old woman living in Meghnagar Jhabua lives in Ujjain and earns her living by collecting plastic bags etc. Lokesh, son of Omkarlal, a resident of Rajiv Nagar, who has a fruit cart in the area, raped the woman.

Someone made a video of this and made it viral on social media. Based on this video and the complaint filed by the woman, the police identified Lokesh and arrested him.

Made him drink alcohol, then abused him

In her statement to the police, the woman said that Lokesh first made her drink alcohol and then raped her. After this, he threatened her and ran away. The incident is said to have happened on Wednesday.

After the video went viral, SP Pradeep Sharma formed an investigation team and ordered action. During the investigation, the police registered a case under molestation charges on Wednesday. After the investigation was completed, the charges of rape were added and the accused was arrested.

Congress became aggressive regarding the incident

Congress has become aggressive on this whole issue. State Congress President Jeetu Patwari wrote on Facebook that once again the holy city of Ujjain has been tarnished. If this is the condition of the Chief Minister’s hometown, then the condition of the rest of the state can be understood. Congress is questioning every minister of the state. They should die of shame. Ministers should leave their posts.
