How to transport dead body in Janani Express?
This is a case of illegal extortion by the ambulance driver from the relatives of the deceased, but the biggest question is how the body was transported in the Janani Express meant for pregnant women? How was the vehicle booked and how were people misled and where? All these points are also being investigated.
A reply was also sought from the supervisor of the out-sourced transport organisation
Be it 108 or Janani, if both are there then only one but dead body cannot be transported in both. Janani was booked from the hospital for a pregnant woman but the newborn baby born by the woman died and Janani driver Samay Lal charged Rs. 2500 for delivering the dead body. The driver has been removed in this case of illegal collection. What was the truth regarding the continuous complaints and transportation of dead bodies in Janani. On this, the CMHO has also sought an answer from the supervisor of the out-sourced transport organization.
