Three youths in Bina demanded extortion money of Rs 1 lakh from a woman, opened fire when she refused to pay

All three accused are in police custody.

Navdunia News, Bina. A case of extorting money in the name of ransom and threatening with bullets on not paying has come to light in Bhagat Singh Ward. On the complaint of the frightened family, the police have registered a crime on the second day. After registering the crime, the police caught the accused and sent them to jail.

According to the information, Bhagat Singh Ward resident Shaili Pataria was doing her work at home around 7:30 pm on August 26. At that time, Raunak Khatik, Rohit Ahirwar and Nitin Sen forcibly entered her house. The three demanded Rs 1 lakh from her as extortion. When she refused, they abused her and beat her up.

When she resisted, they tried to scare the people of the locality including the woman by firing three bullets in the air. The frightened woman shouted for help, then some people of the locality came out of their houses. After which the extortionists fled on the bike.

The next day the woman reached Bina police station to lodge a complaint. The police have registered a crime against the three on the complaint. Two days after the incident, the police have arrested all the three accused. The weapons and bikes were confiscated from the three and they were presented in the court. From where they have been sent to jail.

Police have registered a case against all three under sections 119(1), 296, 308(2), 333, 351(3), 3(5) and Arms Act. Police have taken action by registering a case against accused Rohit Ahirwar alias Parle father Babulal Ahirwar, age 20 years, resident of Shiv Ward, Ronak father Bablu Khatik, age 18 years, resident of Masjid Ward and Nitin Sen father Kamlesh Sen, age 23 years, resident of Shiv Ward.

Rohit Ahirwar alias Parle father Babulal Ahirwar has 6 crimes registered against him under various sections including attempt to murder. One crime is registered against accused Nitin Sen.
