The bike of two people who were swept away in the river in Ratlam district has been found.
Naiduniya Representative, Ratlam (Ratlam News). While crossing the bridge of the river near village Barodia on Shivpur-Ratlam road in Station Road police station area of Ratlam, two persons riding a bike were swept away in the water along with the bike.
On receiving the information, the police and SDRF team reached the spot and started searching for them but they could not be traced. The team is engaged in their search with the help of villagers. According to the information, the names of the persons who were swept away in the water are 66-year-old Harikishan Pawar and 30-year-old Shankar. Both are said to be residents of Ratlam.
Both went by bike
Both of them had gone to a birthday party somewhere near Barodia village on Sunday night. From there, both of them were returning to Ratlam on a bike at around 10 pm. At that time, the bridge of the river near Barodia village was filled with water, despite that they were crossing the bridge on the bike.
Then he lost his balance and fell into the water and was swept away along with the bike. Someone informed the police about the incident. Policemen reached the spot and started the search. At around 1 o’clock in the night, the SDRF team led by Platoon Commander Badri Mandloi also reached the spot and started the search.
After searching for some time due to darkness, the work was stopped. The search operation was started again at around 7 am on Monday morning. After some time, their bike was found at a place, but both of them could not be found. They could not be found till 2 pm. The team is engaged in their search. At the same time, a large number of villagers are also helping in their search.
