Kamal Verma, Gwalior. The Veerangana Laxmibai Balidan Mela, which has been organized in Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh for the last 25 years, will be a two-day fair this time too. The Shaheed Jyoti will come to Phool Bagh Square from Jhansi Fort and will be installed in the ground through a foot march. On Sunday, the ground breaking ceremony of the event venue was done in the ground in front of Maharani Laxmibai Samadhi. Coordinator Jaibhan Pawaiya and religious gurus participated in it.
Program coordinator Jaibhan Pawaiya said that this two-day fair of Veerangana Laxmibai is special because this fair is going to enter its silver jubilee. This event is being organized in Gwalior since the year 2000. An exhibition of the weapons of Veerangana Laxmibai is held in it. A kavi sammelan full of patriotism and heroism is held there. This time a grand play will also be staged with 250 characters. In which there will be a live depiction of horses, camels, carriages.
The life story of Veerangana Laxmibai will be depicted in this great drama. Coordinator Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya said that this year’s Veerangana Samman is being given to Meenakshi Tai Pisve. While renowned poet Hari Om Pawar and other poets from across the country are coming to participate in the program. The families of the martyrs will also be honored. The chief guest of the program will be the state’s cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya.
