13 Odisha Policemen Selected For President’s Police Medal, Police Medal

Bhubaneswar: A complete of 13 policemen from Odisha have been chosen for the President’s Police Medal and Police Medal this 12 months. While two police gives will get the President’s Police Medal, 11 others will obtain the Police Medal, in accordance with the checklist launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The 11 police officers who’ve been chosen by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the Police Medal for Meritorious Service are: S Praveen Kumar (Inspector General of Police, Law and Order), Manoranjan Satpathy (Assistant Sub-Inspector, Vigilance Directorate), Ashok Kumar Dehury (Deputy Commandant, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy), Bhabani Shankar Mishra (Additional SP, SIW, Bhubaneswar), Rabindra Kumar Das (Additional SP, Special Branch, Rourkela), Prakash Chandra Pal (Assistant Commissioner Of Police, ACP Zone VI, Bhubaneswar), Saroj Bhoi (Crime Havildar, Sundergarh), Seikh Nassiruddin (Driver Havildar, Vigilance Directorate), Gautam Patra (Constable, Sunabeda, Koraput), Hemant Bahadur Khatry Chhetry (Subedar OSAP Second Battalion, Jharsuguda) and Budda Tamang (Deputy Commandant, SOG Bhubaneswar)
Likewise, Sujata Das, District Probation Officer, Debraj Pradhan, Chief Warder and Maheswar Behera, Warder from the State will obtain President’s Correctional Service Medals for Distinguished Service.
The Correctional Service Medal will likely be given to D. Ramesh, Warder, and Bhagwan Pradhan, Warder for Meritorious Service.
The President’s Fire Service Medal for Gallantry will even be given to Kasyap Kumar Pattanaik, Leading Fireman whereas the President’s Fire Service Medal for Distinguished Service will likely be given to Kamalakant Puhan, Leading Fireman.
