3 New Cases Filed Against Tainted Odisha IFS Officer Abhay Pathak, Son Akash

Bhubaneswar: Three new circumstances have been filed in opposition to tainted IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak and his son Akash Pathak. Three fraud circumstances have been reportedly registered in opposition to them at Golanthara police station in Ganjam district of the State in the present day.
Sources stated that these three fraud circumstances have been earlier registered in opposition to Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi, who was arrested for duping youths and amassing big sums of cash from them on the pretext of offering them jobs in Tata Motors. However, police in the present day included Abhay and Akash within the case.
It is to be famous right here that each of them have been arrested and lodged in jail on November 27, 2020 in a corruption case. However, the Bhubaneswar-based Special Vigilance Court had granted them bail on January 27.
