Bhubaneswar: As per the route of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian visited Jharsuguda district on Sunday to evaluate the progress of varied developmental works within the district and redressal of public grievances.
He visited the Ramachandi temple in Brajrajnagar and Jangha Linga temple in Laikera the place he interacted with Sebayats, Trustee Members and basic public for growth of temples together with higher services for the devotees and took recommendations on varied points of transformation of the temple and associated pilgrim/ vacationer facilities. He directed the district administration to arrange a grasp plan for growth.
Pandian reviewed the progress of ongoing two Mega Lift Irrigation Projects of Lakhanpur Block at a price of Rs. 113 Cr that can irrigate 7553 Ac of Lakhanpur Block. The tasks can be accomplished by September 2023.
He additionally reviewed the progress of ongoing Mega Piped Water Supply Project at a price of Rs. 600 Cr in Jharsuguda, Kirmira, Kolabira, Laikera and Lakhanpur Block.
