Berhampur: Intensifying crackdown on adulterated meals manufacturing items within the State, Berhampur police on Thursday busted an adulterated spice and chilli manufacturing manufacturing facility at Badabazaar Pandav Nagar space within the city.
Acting on a tip off, the police carried out a raid on the meals processing unit and seized big cache of adulterated spices and uncooked materials processing machines.
Earlier yesterday, a joint squad of Odisha Police and Food Safety officers busted an adulterated sauce and pickle manufacturing unit at Pahala on the outskirts Bhubaneswar, on Wednesday.
Cops made a swoop at P Ok Food Product and confiscated the inventory of adulterated sauce and pickles. They additionally seized packaging machines, chemical substances, synthetic color, essence and large amount of uncooked supplies meant to make the edible commodities.
