Bhadrak: In a surprising incident, a person jumped into the Baitarani River along with his minor daughter at Akhuapada of Bhadrak district this night.
One Chandan Sahu of Balipokhari village below the Bhandari Pokhari police station limits reportedly went lacking after leaping into the Baitarani River from the bridge at Akhuapada.
Scooter and footwear had been seen deserted on the bridge, stated sources including that the native police and Fire Services personnel have began a search operation to hint Chandan and his daughter.
While the precise purpose what prompted Chandan to take the step is but to be identified, it’s suspected that he tried to finish life as he was below extreme psychological stress following the loss of life of his spouse two month in the past.
