STF Seizes Stolen Lam Coke

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch on Sunday busted a cargo theft racket and arrested 10 individuals on this connection from Cuttack district.
As per stories, a staff of STF had performed a raid at Baba Dhabaleswar Coal Dipot after getting dependable inputs concerning organised cargo theft and unlawful unloading of expensive supplies from inter-state autos by miscreants close to NH-66 yesterday.
During the raid, the STF discovered eight vehicles loaded with Low Ash Metallurgical Coke (LAM Coke) from the spot.
“Around 54 metric tons of Lam Coke were found to be stolen and stored at the spot by miscreants illegal for the purpose of sale. The cost of the seized materials is worth around Rs 13,50,000,” STF mentioned in a launch.
The STF officers mentioned that 10 individuals have been arrested in reference to the incident. All the accused have been booked below Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections-379, 411, 120 (B) and produced earlier than the courtroom.
