COVID-19: Odisha Receives Second Consignment Of Covaxin Vaccine – ODISHA BYTES

Bhubaneswar: The second consignment of COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin of the Bharat Biotech arrived right here on Saturday.
Informing the media, director, Health and Family Welfare Bijay Panigrahi stated a particular cargo flight carrying 1,49,760 doses of the vaccine landed on the Biju Patnaik International Airport within the metropolis at 8.17 am.

Stating that the Covid vaccination drive is being efficiently carried out throughout the state, Panigrahi stated when it comes to the variety of vaccinations, Odisha is ranked third within the nation.
Referring to the variety of vaccinations held on Friday, he stated towards the goal of 13,195 well being employees, 16,384 have been vaccinated at 152 session websites. Of whole 30 districts within the state, 21 districts reported 100 per cent vaccination.
On the variety of vaccinations to be carried out on Saturday, Panigrahi stated 20,330 well being employees shall be vaccinated at 221 session websites.
