Covid Vaccination In Odisha To Start From Tomorrow i.e. Jan 16

Bhubaneswar: The Covid vaccination will start from tomorrow i.e. January 16 in Odisha. As many as 160 centres have been recognized the place vaccination shall be carried out.
It is noteworthy that, out of those two centres 2-way-video conferencing facility shall be accessible at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar and on the District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) in Sundergarh.
All the districts have been saved on alert to be prepared for the Covid 19 vaccination.
As per studies, Angul, Deogarh and Sonepur district in addition to Rourkela and Sambalpur Municipal space could have 2 vaccination centres whereas Balangir, Bhadrak, Boudh, Malkangiri, Nuapada district in addition to Berhampur Municipal space and Cuttack Municipal space could have 3 centres.
Similarly, Bargarh, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Nabarangpur and Nayagarh district could have 4 centres.
And Balasore, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Khordha, Koraput, Sambalpur districts and Bhubaneswar Municipal space could have 5 vaccination centres.
Similarly, Kendrapara, Keonjhar and Sundergarh districts could have 6 centres whereas Kalahandi and Raygada could have 7 centres. The districts like Cuttack, Ganjam, Puri could have 8 vaccination centres whereas Mayurbhanj district could have 10 centres.
Accordingly, vaccination shall be carried out in 30 districts and 5 Municipal Corporation areas throughout the State. The Odisha Health and Family Welfare division has intimated the Centre that 160 centres have been recognized for Covid 19 vaccination.
