CRUT to increase Mo Bus service in Rourkela forward of Hockey World Cup

BHUBANESWAR: Ahead of the Hockey World Cup in 2023, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) is planning to increase the ‘Mo Bus’ Service to Rourkela which can co-host the quadrennial match.
It has invited tender to pick out a tour operator for launching the service within the metal metropolis in the direction of the tip of this 12 months. CRUT sources stated the State authorities has determined to introduce Mo Bus in Rourkela to fulfill the growing journey demand of the town.
Though IPT and metropolis bus operated by Sundergarh Urban Transport Trust (SUTT) proceed to stay the primary public transport within the metropolis, the rise in capability of transport system has not but been suitable with the Rourkela’s rising transport demand.
