Excise Cuffs On Two Brown Sugar Peddlers In Odisha’s Puri – ODISHA BYTES

Puri: Excise officers seized brown sugar value round Rs 11 lakh and arrested two individuals on this regard in Puri district on Saturday.
The accused had been recognized as Purnna Chandra Sahu of Haripur village in Pipili and Ramachandra Behera of Sebaka Sahi close to Delang. They had been later forwarded to a court docket.
According to sources, the officers seized 30 grams brown sugar from Purnna and 80 grams from Ramahandra.
The Excise Officials carried out the raids below the path of Puri Collector Samarth Verma.
