Girl Battles For Life After Uncle Slits Her Throat In Odisha

Berhampur: A lady is now battling for her life after she was allegedly attacked by her uncle over some household dispute at Banapalli village beneath Buguda police limits in Ganjam district.
As per stories, the lady sustained a number of accidents after uncle Dhanurdhar Nayak allegedly slited her throat with a pointy weapon on Sunday.
Sources stated Dhanurdhar picked up a quarrel with the lady’s father over some difficulty right now. However, the accused attacked the lady after she tried to pacify them.
“My bother entered into a quarrel with me. Later, he attacked by daughter with a sharp weapon,” stated the sufferer’s father.
Following the assault, the lady was instantly rushed to Buguda healthcare centre.
A staff of police official are conducting additional investigation into the incident. Moreover, the accused has been detained for interrogation, police stated.
