Low turnout as common courses resume

SAMBALPUR: Classes in schools and universities within the district recorded low turnout on Monday after instructional establishments have been reopened after a niche of round 10 months. At Gangadhar Meher University, round 40 per cent of scholars enrolled in undergraduate and post-graduate last 12 months programs, confirmed up on the day. The college officers stated the school rooms have been sanitised and less than two college students have been allowed to take a seat on a bench. While a lot of the college students who attended the courses have been locals, hostel inmates are but to return from their houses.
Similarly, at Government Women’s College, all protocols have been adopted earlier than resumption of bodily courses. Principal Prafulla Sethi stated the school rooms and corridors of the faculty have been sanitised and benches marked to make sure distancing.
