Man drinks poison after killing spouse in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: In a tragic incident a person drank poison after hacking his spouse to demise in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Tuesday. While the person died on the spot, his spouse was rushed to the hospital in essential situation. The incident took plce within the Chheliadi village underneath Badasahi Police limits within the district.

As per reviews, verbal spat erupted between the person and his spouse over watching cell phone. The argument took an unpleasant flip and the person attacked his spouse with a pointy weapon.

After a while the person realised his crime and drank poison. The man has reportedly succumbed to the toxic impact.

The neighbours rushed the lady to the hospital. Her situation is claimed to be essential.
