Jaleswar: Two miscreants looted gold ornaments and money cash from a girl in Jaleswar of Balasore district in Odisha on Friday. They posed themselves as Police personnel to win belief of the girl after which took away her gold and money cash.
As per experiences, two miscreants approached the sufferer lady close to a temple in Bada Bazar space of Jaleswar and requested her to place the gold ornaments in her purse as a security measure since loot has taken place on the similar spot currently.
Believing on the miscreants, the girl did accordingly. Once she put her 30 gram necklace and ring, in her vainness bag, they snatched it and fled from the scene.
The sufferer lady has been recognized as Snehalata Bhanja of Nandika village below Jaleswar Police station.
According to the sufferer the 2 miscreants had worn khaki costume together with jacket, like cops use to put on. They took away the gold jewellery together with money cash amounting to Rs. 4000 that was in her bag.
Following the incident the girl lodged a grievance in regards to the loot with Jaleswar Police and additional investigation of the case is underway.
