National Girl Child Day: Odisha Govt’s Initiative For Safer Society For Girls & Women – ODISHA BYTES

Bhubaneswar: On the event of National Girl Child Day, the Women and Child Development division has launched a communication bundle to accentuate actions in circumstances of discrimination and violence towards women and girls.
The communication bundle has a set of animated movies and posters with Tiki Mausi, the mascot of the division. Developed in collaboration with UNFPA-India, the bundle goals to create consciousness and alter the mindset of the group with respect to girls’s rights.
The authorities targets to present a safer society for women and girls by addressing varied types of violence and discrimination towards the gender within the society.
