Odisha: 2 Killed, 1 Injured As Elephant Trampled Villagers Near Sambalpur

Sambalpur: In a heart-wrenching incident, a girl and her son had been trampled to loss of life whereas her husband was left battling for all times with extreme accidents by an elephant that had strayed into their village late Tuesday night time.
The incident has been reported from Akhandadanda village beneath Jamankira block in Sambalpur district. The deceased has been recognized as Reena Munda (35) and Satya Munda (10). Her injured husband has been recognized as Prashant Munda.
According to stories, the pachyderm is on rampage for the previous few days within the space. The boy alongside together with his dad and mom used to make bricks in a area close to the village
Late at night time, the pachyderm strayed into their hut and trampled them whereas they had been asleep.
The injured Prashant was admitted to Kuchinda neighborhood well being centre (CHC).
On being knowledgeable, forest officers together with native police recovered the our bodies and despatched it for autopsy.
