Odisha CM seeks Modi’s help to find out International seaside airport at Puri

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday sought the help of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the early implementation of plenty of new duties in Odisha along with the proposed International airport at Puri as a world-class seaside airport.

Praising the Prime Minister for launching plenty of railway duties in Odisha, the Chief Minister thanked him and talked about, “I’d take this opportunity to request the Prime Minister for the introduction of a Vande Bharat Express put together between Puri and Rourkela connecting Sambalpur and one different connecting Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad which is ready to facilitate faster movement of passengers between these important cities, for the benefit of our aspiring of us.’

Saying that the state authorities is rising Puri as a worldwide heritage centre, Naveen talked about that Puri is the first metropolis in India to have a 100 per cent drink-from-tap facility.

Regarding the proposed airport at Puri, the Chief Minister talked about, “Recently, I met the Prime Minister and had a detailed discussion on the proposed Shree Jagannath Puri International Airport at Puri. We will incorporate all the suggestions given by the Prime Minister for making it a world-class seaside airport. He hoped that with the cooperation and support of the Prime Minister, this airport will be ready within three to four years, and the Prime Minister will come to Shreekhetra to dedicate the Shree Jagannath Puri International Airport.” he talked about.

The CM further requested Modi to sanction the Puri-Konark new railway line which is ready to be a part of two iconic marvels of the state.

Odisha presents 50 % of the event worth and your complete land worth for the problem, making it terribly worthwhile for the Railways, he educated.

He further talked about that Odisha has always been very proactive in supporting railway duties throughout the state. People of the state have moreover willingly pledged their invaluable land for railway development, hoping that railway duties will provide them many new monetary avenues.

The Chief Minister moreover urged for the early introduction of passenger suppliers in every the Angul-Sukinda line and the Haridaspur-Paradip line to meet the aspirations of the oldsters of these districts.
