Bhubaneswar: As many as 186 new COVID-19 circumstances had been reported in Odisha prior to now 24 hours, taking the entire variety of optimistic circumstances to 332949. Taking to Twitter, the Health and Family Welfare division mentioned, “Regret to inform the demise of two COVID positive patients while under treatment in hospitals.”
The two fatalities had been reported from Khurda and Sundargarh.
Odisha now has 2,166 lively circumstances, whereas 3,28,832 folks have recovered from the illness to this point.
As per State Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) Department, the demise toll has jumped to 1898 with two extra fatalities within the final 24 hours.
Khurda district, of which state capital Bhubaneswar is part, accounted for 333 COVID-19 deaths adopted by Ganjam (248), Sundargarh (170), Cuttack (140) and Puri (117).
Fifty-three coronavirus sufferers have died within the state on account of comorbidities, the official mentioned.
