Berhampur: Hours after an unlawful sauce manufacturing unit was busted at Ganesh Nagar space, one other unauthorised manufacturing unit engaged in pretend water bottling was unearthed in Ganjam district on Sunday.
The unlawful unit was working from a home within the second lane of Laxmi Vihar. Acting on a tip-off, Bada Bazar police carried out raid and seized big amount of water bottles having ranges of reputed manufacturers.
The police stated the unit proprietor was getting ready water pouches and bottles with out permission from the involved authorities. The manufacturing unit has been sealed, the police added.
Earlier within the day, Bada Bazar police seized an enormous inventory of the adulterated sauce and uncooked supplies utilized in manufacturing in Ganesh Nagar space. Acting on a tip-off, the police made a swoop on the unit and confiscated the inventory of duplicate ‘chilli sauce’, ‘soya sauce and ‘tomato sauce’. Some bottles, machines used to arrange the sauce, uncooked supplies, synthetic color and essence have been additionally seized.
The proprietor of the pretend manufacturing unit has been reportedly detained and his questioning is underway.
