Odisha Government Releases Guidelines For Republic Day Celebration

Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha has determined that there shall be no public participation within the Republic Day celebration in Odisha this 12 months.
In a letter to Collectors the Deputy Secretary stated that sure choices have been taken by the Home Department which must be strictly adopted whereas celebrating the event.
The authorities has requested the Collectors to observe the choices taken by the federal government.
The pointers are as follows: 
The National Flag shall be unfolded by the Chief Guest after 8.30 A.M (To be intimated individually by Home Department) adopted by the National Anthem
Only police personnel shall take part within the ceremony
There shall be no participation of scholars / NCC Cadets and many others.
There shall be no participation of most of the people within the celebration. Only restricted variety of visitors could also be invited to the celebration.
It is obligatory to observe the social distancing norms, sporting of masks by these attending the ceremony.
The related pointers and process could also be adopted for the celebration of the Republic Day 2021 on the Block and Panchayat ranges.
