Odisha: Leopard Dies After Being Rescued From Wild Boar Trap In Ganjam | OTV News

Bhanjanagar: A leopard that bought caught in a lure laid to seize wild boars in Naguda-Manitara space beneath Buguda forest vary in Ganjam district died after being rescued by the forest officers.
The leopard died contained in the cage when it was being shifted by the forest officers for its launch within the wild.
According to sources, the animal was discovered caught within the lure laid for wild boars on the outskirts of a village. The forest officers then reached the world to rescue the trapped animal.
However, the animal broke the lure and escaped in the course of the rescue operation triggering panic among the many locals. However, after a number of hours, the forest officers positioned the animals and rescued it.
Veterinarians examined the well being situation of the rescued animal earlier than the forest officers launched it to the forest. However, whereas carrying the animal in a cage to launch it into the forest, it died, knowledgeable Buguda forest ranger.

The cause of demise continues to be unknown whereas the autopsy report is awaited.
