Over 1 quintal ganja seized in Koraput, 3 arrested

Koraput: An enormous cache of ganja seized at Tikaput Chhak in Koraput district within the wee hours in the present day and apprehended three individuals on this connection.
The arrested three individuals had been residents of Rajasthan.
Acting on a tip-off, the Lamtaput and Jalaput police together with a particular workforce at round 4 am intercepted a car coming from Rajasthan close to Tikaput Chhak. During the search, they seized over 1 quintal of contraband price 4 lakhs from the automotive and arrested three individuals on this connection and one fled from the scene.
The automotive was transporting the contraband from Jalaput space to Rajasthan, informs Nandapur SDPO Sanjay Mohapatra.
A case below NDPS Act has been registered on this connection and additional investigations are underway.
