Parlakhemundi ACF demise case: Bidyabharti Panda to bear lie detection check tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Bidyabharti Panda, the spouse of deceased Paralakhemundi Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra, will bear a polygraph check (lie detection) tomorrow.
According to reviews, the group of Odisha Crime Branch (CB) will conduct Bidyabharti’s lie detection check for which it has already ready a set of questions.
The lie detection check of Bidyabharti Panda can be performed with an purpose to establish the reality behind the mysterious demise of Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra.
Earlier on Saturday, the Crime Branch had performed a polygraph check of Parlakhemundi Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Sangram Keshari Behera and deceased Soumya Ranjan’s cook dinner Manmath Kumbha.
The members of the family of the ACF had named Bidya Bharati Panda, Sangram Keshari Behera and Manmath Kumbha as accused within the FIR they lodged on the Paralakhemundi police station after the demise of the forest officer.
Apart from a CBI probe into the case, in addition they demanded the arrest and lie detection check of the trio.
Notably, the ACF had sustained burn accidents at his official quarters in Parlakhemundi on July 11. He succumbed whereas being handled at a personal hospital in Cuttack on the next story.
