BHUBANESHWAR: The Commissionerate Police apprehended a dreaded prison, wished in a bombing and try to homicide case, after an encounter right here late Saturday evening.
The prison Jitendra Palei, alias Jitu, was apprehended after being chased by a staff of Kharvelnagar Police close to the Bankual-Kuakhai river embankment at round 1.30 am.
Acting on a tip-off, a staff comprising Kharvelnagar IIC Rajnkinkant Mishra and different officers moved in direction of the Cuttack-Puri bypass and located Jitu shifting to the capital in a automotive close to Tankapani highway.

He was admitted to Capital Hospital for remedy.
The prison had allegedly hurled bombs at a jewelry store proprietor at Unit IX within the metropolis for theft. Besides, he has been charged with many different prison instances, together with homicide and extortion.
