Republic Day Celebrations: Commissionerate Police Issues Advisory | OTV News

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the Republic Day celebrations, the Commissionerate Police on Monday issued an advisory for public.
The Mahatma Gandhi Marg, the place the State-level parade can be held on January 26 (tomorrow), will stay out of bounds for public. The motion of automobiles and pedestrians can be utterly restricted from 6:30 am to 9 am, tweeted Commissionerate Police.

Police Commissioner, Sudhanshu Sarangi mentioned that State Level Republic Day Parade 2021 can be commanded by 25-year-old Assistant Superintendent of Police S. Susree (2018 batch IPS).
On January 14, Odisha authorities had launched pointers for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations in view of the COVID-19 pandemic scenario.
In a letter to the district Collectors and SPs, the State Home Department had categorically instructed that no college students, NCC cadets or most of the people can be allowed to participate within the Republic Day celebrations this yr.
