Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate of Police has begun the preparations for the state-level Republic Day parade. The rehearsal for parade will start on Gandhi Marg from immediately. As many as 18 teams together with the police bands will participate within the rehearsal.
A senior official of the Commissionerate of Police will examine the safety preparations for the celebration, sources stated.
The State Police has appointed a gaggle of 30 platoons of police power who might be on responsibility for the Republic Day celebration on Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar.
The full space across the Gandhi Marg highway might be below CCTV surveillance and a management room may also be arrange close to the parade space to observe it.
