Subramanian Swamy meets Puri Shankaracharya, says Srimandir mission controversy have to be ended

BHUBANESWAR/PURI: Senior BJP chief and former Union minister Subramanian Swamy on Friday stated that he’ll take up the Srimandir Parikrama mission difficulty with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The BJP chief met Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati on the Gobardhan Peetha in Puri and mentioned a number of points with him. Stating that he was conscious of the controversies surrounding the mission, Swamy stated there’s a want to finish the controversy.

Swamy stated that he’ll focus on the difficulty with the Chief Minister and ask him what he desires. “Biju Patnaik was a close friend and I have good relations with his son and present Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. I will take up the issue and speak to Naveen. There is a need to end the controversy,” he added.

The BJP chief stated that temples have been the centres of data and kings additionally used to go to such locations. It is all people’s obligation to guard temples. He, nonetheless, stated that temples ought to be free from authorities contol. “A government can intervene if there are some irregularities,” he stated.
