Two girls held for abducting minor

PARADIP: Two girls who allegedly kidnapped a minor lady, engaged her in waste assortment in addition to family chores had been arrested by Paradeep Lock police on Monday. The 13-year-old lady, a Class VIII scholar of Kanya Ashram in Paradeepgarh, was on technique to her neighbour’s home on December 16 final 12 months when she went lacking.

The lady’s mom Rita Mandal lodged a lacking grievance with police following which a case was registered and investigation launched. After her rescue, the lady revealed that she was kidnapped by  Purnima Nath of Paradeepgarh. Nath allegedly handed her over to Gitanjali Meher who was staying in a rented lodging in Rahama together with her husband.

The minor was engaged in gathering waste bottles and polythene on the market to scrap merchants. After 10 days, she was once more handed over to Nath who made her do home chores in her home. After 15 days, the lady managed to flee. Paraeep Lock IIC Pravash Sahu stated the 2 girls had been produced in courtroom and remanded to judicial custody.
