Weather Update: Fog Engulfs Several Parts Of Odisha, Minimum Temperature To Rise From Today | OTV News

Bhubaneswar: Dense fog engulfed a number of locations of Odisha on Monday morning affecting regular lives within the area.
As per the information shared by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, Daringbadi, Koraput, Angul, Boudh and Paradip witnessed dense fog within the early hours in the present day.
Due to dense fog, visibility dropped to 50 metres in Daringbadi, Angul and Koraput. Similarly, visibility dipped under 100 metres in Boudh and 150 metres in Paradip, respectively.
Talcher, Chandbali, Puri, Keonjhar, Nayagarh and Malkangiri districts witnessed shallow to average fog, added the Met Centre.
Meanwhile, minimal temperature remained under 15 diploma Celsius in 19 locations of the State on Sunday. Jharsuguda recorded the bottom temperature 10.4 diploma C which was adopted by Bolangir 10.5, Keonjhar 10.6, Titlagarh 11, Sundargarh 11, Phulbani 11, Bhawanipatna 11.5, Baripada 12, Talcher 12.4, Sonepur 12.6, Daringbadi 13, Angul 13, Sambalpur 13.2, Hirakud 13.1, Boudh 13.5, Balasore 13.5, Cuttack 13.8, Chandbali 14 and Jajpur 14.3.
The mercury in Bhubaneswar stood at 16 diploma Celsius yesterday, knowledgeable the Met Centre.The Met Centre had yesterday stated that minimal temperature (night time temperature) will rise by three to 4 diploma Celsius over the districts of inside Odisha and by round two diploma Celsius over coastal districts of the State from in the present day.
Thereafter, minimal temperature will lower by three to 4 levels progressively from January 21 within the State, the Met Centre had stated.
“Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Rayagada and Kandhamal on January 19,” predicted the Met Centre.
